Hi all,

You might read this on the WF, but, I'm posting it here first.

I'm going to add to this post later but I just wanted to get started.

This is an advertising forum where we will learn by doing.

However if you are going to advertise you need a product to advertise.

You can sell other peoples' products or you can create your own products.

Here is a very easy way to create your own eBook or eReport.

It's called The IM Interview. In this case IM does not stand for Internet Marketing. It stands for the other IM that is Instant Message.

You can use AOL instant message, Yahoo, Google or even Meebo.com. If you don't know about Meebo.com, it's an instant message service that uses AOL/AIM, MSN, Yahoo and Google Talk instead of using on on your PC you use theirs online. You use your user name for your particular IM service but you can use this service from any PC.

Let's see. Where was I? Well, you can use any IM service for this. You can use Skype chat also.

Find an expert

Now this part won't help at all if you are a chicken or egg, which came first stickler. The truth is you can think of a niche first and then look for an expert or you can find the expert first and talk about his/her niche.

For our example here, lets say you want to write a 30 page eBook on Coffee. Your target market might be coffee lovers, eBook resellers who want to break into the billion dollar coffee market or you might even strike up a deal with a gourmet coffee house chain to advertise their business in the eBook and just give the eBook away for free.

You could charge the coffee house corporation a few thousand dollars to distribute the eBook to "millions." Make it viral, and start giving it away for free on sitepoint, digitalpoint, the Warrior Forum etc.

How ever you want to market it you now have to come up with the eBook and that is where the interview process comes in.

Search the web for coffee forums. Contact the owner of the forums or other experts that post on the forum.

Tell the expert that you want to interview them in exchange for ??? (A byline, further establishing them as an expert, a fee, a cut of the sales, whatever, you decide.)

Prepare questions for the expert. You come up with questions, find questions that have been asked on other coffee forums and this is very important, Ask the expert to provide you with some questions he would like to be asked.

Set up a meeting time where you will open up an Instant Message chat and start out by typing in something like. Hi, you know I'm interviewing you for an eBook I'm writing and you give me permission to use this interview in the eBook, right?

If he answers to the affirmative simply start typing the questions.

your name or user id will appear by each question and the expert's name or user ID will appear by each answer.

In an hour or so you will have THOUSANDS of words to save to your desktop. Save the chat, copy it and save several different copies just in case you mess one up.

Cut and paste it in a word doc. Edit it, adding pictures of steaming coffee, biscotti, happy people drinking coffee. Save the word doc. Open the doc with Open Office and hit PDF. (I compose in MS Word and then open it in OpenOffice. You can start with OpenOffice (free) and cut out MSWord if you want.

You now have a product.

It's really that easy.

If you are a consistent Quality Poster in the Let's Talk Forum your selected (by Admin) Free ad or ads and or your selected $1.50 ad or ads will be placed in the Silver Forum for a length of time determined by Admin.

Even after your ad is removed from the Silver Forum your name or user ID along with a link to one of your currently running ads will be placed on the Silver Wall of FAME.

Payment For Ads and TOS

Step one. Post your ad. (Unless you are buying a text ad at the top of the forum in which case you pay first and then Send a Private message to Admin.) When you pay for your ad via PayPal put a comment in your payment screen "My ad name is (title of your ad)" My User ID is (your $1.50 ad forum ID)

Step two. Pay for your ad. (Unless you are buying a text ad at the top of the forum in which case you pay first and then Send a Private message to Admin.)

Step Three. We will confirm your payment and look at your ad. If it meets our TOS (Terms Of Service) we will post a "thank you" post in your thread. If it does not meet our TOS we will remove your ad and refund your money.

Within a short time usually 24 hours (it may take longer) after payment your ad wil looked at and approved or not approved. If we refuse your ad we will refund your money and we reserve the right to refuse any ad for any reason and to refund your money.

Do not post "adult theme" ads including but not limited too hard core or soft core porno. Do not post ads advertising tobacco related subjects or topics with the exception of stop smoking products. Do not post ads for anything illegal. Do not post anything that could be deemed offensive toward any ethnic, religious, or political group. Do not post any ads dealing with the occult.

Management does not endorse any ads posted on this forum. Management is not necessarily in agreement with anything posted on this forum. Things posted on this forum does not necessarily express the views of management.

$1.50 ads MUST be limited to 1,000 words

I'm George Wright. You probably know me from the Warrior Forum and or Tammy's Forum, Operation Membership (Coming back soon)

We are starting this forum so that we all can learn how to do Internet Marketing by DOING Internet Marketing.

We will watch each other fall down on our faces, get up and start all over again.

We will keep on keepin on until we either succeed or give up and while we are on this wild ride we will HAVE FUN.

We are not here to flame, insult or downgrade anyone in any way shape or form. We are here to LEARN by DOING and watch this forum evolve into something that will take us all to greater Internet Marketing heights.

Our Sister Forum OperationMembership will be open to every one here who runs one or more Featured or Premium ad. And vice versa, Members of OperationMembership will be welcome here. Everyone who is a paid member of OperationMembership can post one featured ad for FREE.

The modest prices we are charging for ads will hopefully keep us going.

You will be running ads for several different reasons. One reason is to make some money offering your products and services to members and others, as anyone can view your ads. Another reason is to learn how to write ads and sales pages that you can take out to the entire Internet and seek your fame and fortune.

If you are a PRO we will be watching and learning from you. If your ads and products are that good we will be buying from you.

If you are a newbie, do like the shoe ad says "just do it." Get started, run your ads. Tweak them and become a pro.

This forum is in the evolving process and changes will be made as necessary to keep this a great place for everyone. Forums will be added as new categories come up in the discussion and ad areas.

Don't take it personal if your ad gets deleted. Avoid this by checking our TOS but please don't leave mad. Try again.
